Draft procedural rules are being reviewed during this WG session.

The member from Korea is elected the chair.

After procedural issues are resolved, the chair wants to start the discussion of the guidelines and minimum requirements for ODR providers and neutrals.

It was reported yesterday that over 520,000 insurance claims disputes valued at more than 2.4 billion were settled outside the courts—a staggering number that dwarfs former records.  And interestingly, 98% of arbitration filings were made online. "Negotiations must be concluded within 10 days, or, the proceedings will proceed to the next phase.  The Secretariat has left open whether or not there will be 2 or 3 more stages after negotiation."
